1. Resize the canvas to fit all layers in your current document, excluding the background layer.
2. Resize the selected layer to fit the canvas. This will proportionally reduce the size of your layer until the entire layer is visible on the canvas.
3. Crop the selected layer to fit the canvas. This will simply trim any extra height and width off the selected layer.
